{"id":2065,"date":"2017-07-27T10:13:33","date_gmt":"2017-07-27T09:13:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.conservationpulse.com\/?p=2065"},"modified":"2021-03-05T07:18:19","modified_gmt":"2021-03-05T07:18:19","slug":"2017-07-endangered-turtles-arrived-at-pu-mat-rescue-centre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/indomyanmarconservation.org\/my\/2017-07-endangered-turtles-arrived-at-pu-mat-rescue-centre\/","title":{"rendered":"38 endangered turtles arrived at Pu Mat Rescue Centre, Nghe An Province, Vietnam."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the 26<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of July 2017, the Wildlife Rescue Centre of Pu Mat National Park has received 38 turtles of three different species, including 26 Indochinese box turtle (<em>Cuora galbinifrons<\/em>), 11 four-eyed turtle (<em>Sacalia quadriocellata<\/em>), and one Keeled box turtle (<em>Cuora mouhotii<\/em>). Reportedly, these turtles were purchased by a single local trader from various locations. The species are all locally occurring in Pu Mat National Park but animals many also have come from other locations such as neighbouring Laos.
