From the latter, we were glad to welcome officers from Quang Binh Forestry Protection Department, Quang Binh Border Guard, Quang Binh Environmental Police, and Quang Binh Customs in this special training course.

In two days of training, participants had the opportunity to learn about the Asian Turtle Crisis, gain identification skills of endangered and protected reptile species (including tortoises and freshwater turtles), and mammal species (including ungulates, primates, and carnivores). In addition, trainees were also introduced to techniques to rescue and care for confiscated tortoises and freshwater turtles to ensure high survival rate.

We would like to thank the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park Management Board for their collaboration and support for this training course. We also like to all the trainees for their active participation in the training course.
